This shrew's fiddle is the only one you will ever need. It has a decent weight, is superbly finished with rounded edges, ergonomic hand cut-outs and smooth-running hinges. The surface is polished and the gaps are very clean.
To close it, simply close the hand openings and move both halves towards each other. Then all you need to do is insert the pin and secure it with the padlock provided. It is no longer possible to escape, even with the key.
The hand openings are oval for a comfortable but tight fit and are at an angle to each other so that the wrists are not twisted. The exact dimensions are given below.
